Kimberly Black – Resident Entertainer, Burlesque Artiste, Singer & Actress
Kimberly has worked as a singer for many years performing at such venues as Her Majesty’s Theatre, The London Palladium and Beck Theatre.
In 2012 she graduated from The Poor School, Kings Cross. Credits include Cathy in The Last 5 Years, Cinderella in Into the Woods, Natasha in Three Sisters, Bill in Absolute Hell and Eva Temple in Orpheus Descending performed at The Workhouse Theatre. She has also performed at some of London’s cabaret clubs as a singer and burlesque performer, Leading Lady in Bring me Sunshine Musical Tour, Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, is the voice of the music hall singer at The Museum of London Docklands and Maud, burlesque dancer & co host in Emerald Kitty’s Burlesque shows. She is also a production consultant for Emerald Kitty.
She has also performed with Dollymix, The Inmates, Magpie Jazz Duo and as a main soloist in a musical concert at The Wyndams Theatre, Leicester Square.
Kimberly is a performer, teacher and Musical Director for Imajica Theatre Company and for the last two years has directed and written her own interactive historical Ghost Walk experiences in Hemel Hempstead’s Old Town and Boxmoor, a combination of local history and live theatre. Her company Spirit of the Old Town won the Dacorum’s Den in 2016.
Kimberly is a member and consultant for The Canting Crew theatre company, having performed as Florrie in Dracula and the Nun in Comedy at Sadlers Wells, and most recently she has performed with local theatre company Theatre on Wax in Shadow Town at Watford Museum and Tick Tock Trilogy at the LP Café.
When Kimberly is not performing she teaches singing and burlesque dancing.
